| The NYSBC houses a state of the art electron microscopy facility in upper Manhattan. Currently, we have three field emission instruments equipped with CCD detectors, an assortment of holders for all types of biological applications, as well as the ancilliary equipment to meet the most demanding applications of structural biology.
In addition, data processing can be carried out on a LINUX cluster that has 16 nodes with four processors each, and 4GB of RAM per node, with an assortment of software for image processing of electron micrographs.
