Shutdown checklist

All microscopes

• 40 kx magnification
• Spread Beam clockwise to cover screen
• Close column valves or turn off filament
• Remove objective aperture
• Home stage
• Remove sample
• Make sure available exposure log is updated
• Turn off monitors

F20

• Remove objective aperture
• Run Cryo cycle
• Refill liquid nitrogen dewar
• Screen lowered

2100

• MDS mode off
• Free Lens control off
• Put in dummy holder
• Run ACD Bake
• Refill liquid nitrogen dewar
• screen lowered

1230

• Desaturate filament to 70% filament current
• Remove Gatan Camera
